For and Since- identify the correct word use

Type for or since according to the sentence

Prepositions FOR and SINCE - Both can be used to express how long something has been happening.

FOR is used to indicate the period of time.

I have been here for two hours. (you know it has been two hours.)

SINCE  is used to indicate the beginning of the period.

I have live here since 2000.     (here you know when the action started.)

1. I have been living in Europe one year.

2. I have not seen you a month.

3. I have been waiting 1:00 pm.

4. I have lived here 8 years.

5. I have lived here 2006.

6. she came here I have been very happy.

7. She has been married ten years.

8. He has been a doctor 1999.

9. I have not seeing you last week.

10. Yesterday I studied five hours.

11. He has been studying last July.

12. I have been working here the last two years.
