Tips:

Try to avoid beginning all the sentences the same way: He looks ..., He's got ..., He wears ... This makes the description rather boring to read, so try to vary the sentence structure: Her eyes are ..., The first thing you notice is ..., Another characteristic is ...

• Possible aspects you might mention are: your relationship with the person/how you met, their appearance and style of clothing, their character, and your personal feelings about them.

Here there is a sample of a person description:

My best friend

My best friend is Claudia, we have known each other since we were in elementary school, twelve years ago, now she is nineteen years old. We met because we were in the same classroom, but we weren’t friends. In fact, we didn’t talk much in elementary school. When we started secondary school we’ve got to know each other better and then we became friends.

Claudia’s appearance is average, like other Mexican young women. She is average height and slim, a little taller than me. She’s got wavy, long and brown hair. Her eyes are brown. Her nose is a little bit long and her mouth is small. She is a little short-sighted like me, we both wear glasses. The clothes she likes are mostly trendy.

Speaking about her character, I can say that she is sincere and impatient. I like it when she is sincere because she can help me when I do something wrong. She makes me think over the things I've done. On the other hand, she can be very impatient and I don’t like that; for example, I remember once when I arrived ten minutes late she was very angry. Fortunately, her bad temper don't last long, so after a few minutes she was laughing.

I think I am blessed to have her as a friend because she is also an amusing person. When we gather, laughter is a guaranty. Back in secondary school, our classmates gave us nick names related to laughter. She is a entertaining and trustworthy friend, she is always there when I need a shoulder to cry or someone to laugh with.
